Lizzie asks…
I live in the SF Bay Area so the closer the better, but proximity is not my top priority.
Go to Fortune.com and read the top 100 companies to work for. But be prepared to work your butt off if you get onboard with one of these companies, they expect A LOT!!

Sharon asks…
I will probably be working in Menlo Park or Berkeley…I would of course LOVE to go to UCBerkeley but I doubt they’ll accept me…will finish w/an overall GPA of 3.0. If I am working for an amazing company for 3 years however, and prove my true potential (I was immature and went thru depression in college) is there any chance to still get into a top program? I prefer to stay in town.
Anyway, if you know the top say 5-10, plz let me know so I can call them individually and ask about their admissions process.
Thanks a bunch!
So it sounds like your grades eliminate Cal & Stanford-two of the best. Why don’t you try San Jose State, San Francisco State, or University of San Francisco. All are well respected in the bay area, and have MBA programs!!

John asks…
I am looking in the New York, Bay Area and DC markets and would want to cover all my bases by making sure I reach all the top staffing companies.
Currently on my list I have Volt, Kforce, Spherion…
Are there more?
Thanks a lot!
I heard of Spherion, i used to work for “Computer Horizon” as a temp, in Morristown i believe it was located.

Maria asks…
i have a concept name, a general target market in mind, a company image (vision), about 100 archetype sketches. where do i start? is there a business model i can follow? i’m thinking a “planted in faith organically grown” type of start up.
Hi,
You should have your own business website to promote your products and services.
Now, web hosting is very cheap. You can get it for less than $5 a month.Normally it comes with hundreds of web templates. It’s very easy to design your website.Just pick and choose the templates…..even the elementary school students can do it…
I would recommend “IX webhosting” because it’s cheap for small business and their technical support is excellent. They’re very responsive to any inquiry.
